Cancellation and Other Policies

24 hours advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment with A Kneaded Therapy.  If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged for half of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.  All gift certificates will become void without 24 hour notice of cancellation.  If you have a Massage Package, one of your sessions with be void.

No-shows

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show”. They will be charged for their “missed” appointment and future service will be denied until payment is made.  No-shows will cancel, or void any gift certificate associated with that appointment missed.

Arriving late

Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you. If you arrive late your session may be shortened to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there's enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment given, you will be responsible for the price of the full session.

Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.

Urgent scheduling

If you absolutely need to been seen the day of your call or if your time exceeds normal business hour a fee of $20 will be added to the total cost of your appointments.

Return/exchanges

Under no circumstance will any refund be made.  There is a $20 transfer fee if a gift certificate is used by anyone other than who they're registered to at the time of purchase.  Gift Certificates do not have cash value and are for the service that is printed on the gift certificate ie: a 60-minute massage gift certificate may not be used as payment for part of a couple’s massage.\

Bounced checks

    If your bounce a check, a $35 fee will be added to the total of the check that bounced at A Kneaded Therapy.  If timely payment isn't made you will be turned over to the proper authorities  and further actions will be taken.
